Switching is really easy with our Engager.app online client portal and Xama AML check. Once we’ve agreed your service provision you will be prompted to sign up to our portal to digitally sign our Terms of Engagement and you will receive an easy to follow checklist of information we require. If you are moving from another accountant we will handle the retrieval of all your previous records via our Professional Clearance procedure.
We are required by HMRC and Companies House to follow Anti Money Laundering regulations under the Economic Crime and Transparency Act 2023. To get started with Silver Sail you will need to provide copies of ID documents such as a Passport or Driving License. We collect this data securely via our Xama AML portal.
Once our AML check has been approved we will require VAT Registration and UTR numbers plus details that enable us to apply for authorized agent status to deal with HMRC and Companies House on your behalf.
